Go To Luxor

Day 1

Morning meeting at Cairo Airport with GO TO KNOW Tour Leader– Check-in for Flight Cairo/Luxor (55 minutes flight) – Arrival to LXR airport    25°40’25N 32°41’35E.  Transfer by air-conditioned bus to hotel Maritim Jolie Ville Luxor  25°40’00N 32°37’11E (20 minutes drive) & check-in & lunch.

PM: guided tour to the Temple of Karnak  25°43’09N 32°39’26E, a great complex of temples, massive Columns, Pylons and Chapels. The complex is a vast open-air museum and the largest ancient religious site in the world. It consists of four main parts. The term Karnak often is understood as being the Precinct of Amun-Re only, because this is the only part most visitors see. The three other parts, the Precinct of Mut, the Precinct of Montu, and the dismantled Temple of Amenhotep IV, are closed to the public. Then proceed to walk on the Cornish of Luxor close by the illuminated Temple of Luxor.

Back to hotel. Dinner & overnight.

Day 2

Breakfast in hotel.  Transfer to the west bank of the River Nile to visit the Great Valley of Kings,    25°44’20N 32°36’12E where, for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, tombs were constructed for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom (the Eighteenth to the Twentieth dynasties of Ancient Egypt). Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut  25°44’17N 32°36’23E.  Then visit the Temple of Habu , and, on the way back to hotel, photo stop at the 2 Colossuses of Memnon. Snacks box will be served on the bus and late lunch will be served once back in hotel. Dinner & overnight.

Day 3

• Breakfast & Lunch in hotel
• Spend the morning inside the hotel and enjoy Team-Building games organized by GTK staff and enjoying the hotel recreational activities and swimming pools. Lunch in hotel.
• In the evening, transfer to the Temple of   25°42’00N 32°38’22E and visit the illuminated remarkable complex of monuments.
• Back to hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 4

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Luxor airport for flight back to Cairo.
