Day 1

AM meeting at Cairo Airport with GO TO KNOW Tour Leader for flight Cairo/Toronto .

Upon arrival at the Toronto Int’l Airport googleearth_icon1  43°38’43N 79°22’46W, a guide will meet the group and assist with transfer to the hotel.

Visit the iconic cultural attraction, Ontario Science Centre, home to interactive experiences with science and technology. The Centre has several hundred interactive and passive exhibits throughout the buildings. They feature geology, the science of nature , astronomical science, how to play music and technology , human anatomy, communication , and some miscellaneous artifacts of science.

Day 2

Breakfast in hotel.

Starting transfer south, skirting the industrial towns of Oakville googleearth_icon1  43°27’57N 79°41’14W and Hamilton googleearth_icon1 43°14’54N 79°49’37W, through the orchards and vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula.  We arrive mid-morning at the historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake, home of the Shaw Festival.  Here we discover a small but thriving community, proud to display a carefully preserved nineteenth century atmosphere.  Time will be allocated to explore the village and browse through the shops and boutiques.  In the afternoon, we follow the scenic Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls   googleearth_icon1 43°04’44N 79°04’33W, the honeymoon capital of the world.  Also enjoy a Journey Behind the Falls experience.

Transfer back to Toronto .

Overnight

Day 3

After Breakfast start a visit to the Art Gallery of Ontario googleearth_icon1 43°39’12N 79°23’33W which includes more than 80,000 works spanning the 1st century to the present day, then enjoy one of the largest history museums in North American the Royal Ontario Museum googleearth_icon1 43°40’03N 79°23’40W,  next we will take a tour by the Rogers Centre (formerly known as the Skydome) a multi-purpose stadium , at last admission to the observation deck of the CN Tower googleearth_icon1  43°38’33N 79°23’13W (553.33 m-high concrete communications and observation), offering a bird’s eye view of the city and surrounding area.

Day 4

Depart for a sightseeing tour of Toronto. In recent times, few cities in North America have changed as rapidly as Toronto. Canada’s most cosmopolitan, exciting city is the cultural heart of south central Ontario. Today we will take a trip to the Eaton Shopping Centre googleearth_icon1 43°39’15N 79°22’50W and enjoy a visit to Canada’s majestic Castle, Casa Loma googleearth_icon1 43°40’40N 79°24’33W and step back in time to a period of European elegance and splendor. The former home of Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellatt, Canada’s foremost castle is complete with decorated suites, secret passages, an 800-foot tunnel, towers, stables, and beautiful 5-acre estate gardens

Day 5

Off early today, we enjoy a pleasant drive east.  First stopping at the Metropolitan Toronto Zoo, googleearth_icon1 43°49’28N 79°11’02W Canada’s premier zoo known for its interactive education and conservation activities. As a unique wildlife experience then Follow the north shore of Lake Ontario, we pass endless miles of rolling farm land.  Our destination is the beautiful Thousand Islands resort region  googleearth_icon1 44°25’25N 75°42’03W an area of natural beauty that must be seen.  At night we will experience the thrilling Kingston Haunted Walk, enjoy a unique historical walking tour through the quiet , dark city streets & hear the local ghost stories .

Day 6

After Breakfast we will spend some time in the downtown of Kingston and make a stop at the Fort Henry, a strategic point located near the mouth of the Cataraqui River where it flows into the St. Lawrence River, at the upper end of the Thousand Islands. before continuing our journey to Canada’s Capital. From the lumber and rail centre of bygone days, Ottawa has blossomed into a modern capital, which features an impressive array of public monuments, museum, galleries and other attractions.  Sightseeing highlights today include Parliament Hill  googleearth_icon145°25’25N 75°42’03W, the residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General (the Queen’s representative in Canada), the National Arts Centre googleearth_icon1  45°25’24N 75°41’37W, center of performing art, then enjoy one one of Canada’s oldest and largest public markets, the Byward Market.

Day 7

After Breakfast , enjoy  drive along Sussex Driver googleearth_icon1  45°26’10N 75°41’51W for a guided tour to Rideau Hal ,the official residence in Ottawa of both the Canadian monarch and the Governor General of Canada l and drive through Rockliffe Park , It is the wealthiest neighborhood in the city and one of the most prosperous enclaves in Canada. In the afternoon admission to one of Canada’s premier art Gallery ,the National Gallery of Canada.

Day 8

This morning after breakfast , we will visit Museum of Civilization, Canada’s national museum of human history, then visit the War Museum Canada’s national museum of military history.  Explore the downtown of Ottawa. In the afternoon, we leave Ontario and cross the border into the province of Quebec and arrive in Montreal googleearth_icon1  45°30’00N 73°33’00W, the world’s second largest French-speaking city.  Montreal boasts a unique combination of the founding cultures of Canada and a vibrant, cosmopolitan flair.

Overnight

Day 9

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Montreal with a local guide.  Highlights include outside view of Notre Dame Basilica googleearth_icon1   45°30’15N 73°33’21W a stunning example of the fine ecclesiastic architecture of the 19th century,  the residential and financial districts, historic Old Montreal, the charming Latin Quarter, enjoy an outside view of the Olympic Complex googleearth_icon1  45°33’24N 73°33’04W, travel through the campus of McGill University googleearth_icon1 43°30’17N 73°34’37W and savour the panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mount Royal.  In the afternoon we will visit the Montreal Science Centre googleearth_icon1 45°30’16N 73°33’06W

Day 10 

Today we will visit Biodome googleearth_icon1 45°33’34N 73°32’59W  is a facility that allows visitors to walk through replicas of four ecosystems then take a look at Olympic Park. We will also have a self-guided tour at St. Joseph’s Oratory googleearth_icon1 45°29’29N 73°37’01W a Roman Catholic minor basilica, and drive to Trois- Rivieres to visit the Sugar Shack in the afternoon.  Return to Montreal in late afternoon.

Day 11

Transfer to the Montreal International Airport for departure to Cairo with a stop in London – Arrival to Cairo – End of GTK services
