Midland Camp & London

 

Day 1

Meeting at Cairo Airport with GTK Trip Leader– Check-in for Flight Cairo/London. Arrival to LHR airport  51°28’15N 0°26’34W & Transfer by private air-conditioned modern bus to Lichfield-Midland, to Whitemoor Lakes Center  52°43’15N 1°44’15W – (200 km / 2hrs drive) – Packed lunch en route.

Arrive to Whitemoor Lakes, check-in – After dinner, students will have night walk through surroundings of Whitemoor lakes.

Lights out – Overnight.

 

Day 2

AM is dedicated for Abseil & Zip wire/Challenge course/Raft Building.

Lunch on site.

Afternoon is dedicated for Problem Solving / High Ropes.

Dinner in Camp.

Camp Fire.

Lights out.

 

Day 3

AM is dedicated for Archery / Abseil & Zip Wire / Challenge Course.

Afternoon is dedicated for Tropical Wildlife experience.

Lights out.

 

Day 4

Breakfast & Check-out.

Transfer by air-conditioned bus to Alton Towers Theme Park (45 minutes drive),  52°59’14N 1°53’09W, enjoying its games & facilities.

Lunch is included in Alton Towers.

Proceed to transfer to London (245 km / 3 hrs drive) & Check-in.

Dinner in hotel & overnight.

Day 5

Breakfast in hotel.

AM: experience the underground network of London to reach Madame Tussaud  51°31’16N 0°09’20W and visit this remarkable wax museum that was founded by the wax sculpture Marie Tussaud, displaying wax work of celebrities.

Lunch in restaurant.

Proceed to visit the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum  51°29’46N 0°10’34W. The Science Museum, this award-winning museum, has been a favorite of school groups for years due to its dedicated program of extraordinary demonstrations and interactive exhibits that really bring Science to life in a fun and memorable way. Natural History Museum – With the topics of climate change and natural environments popular themes for discussion at the moment, a visit to this excellent museum can help your students understand the impacts that science and nature have on their lives and the wider environment.

On the way back to hotel, enjoy a guided city tour to learn about the landmarks of London, such as; Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, Big Ben & Parliament, Covet Garden, Piccadilly Circus, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Ritz Hotel.

Day 6

Breakfast in hotel.

AM Transfer for a fantastic bird’s eye view of England’s capital city, students will take a flight on London Eye  51°30’09N 0°07’12W. Spot famed landmarks and take in the 30-mile panoramic view.

Then, few steps away, visit the new London Dungeon, one of London must see attraction, an ultimate thrill-filled journey through London’s murky past, turning 1000 years of history into 90 minutes of laughs, scares, theatre, rides, special effect, characters, jokes, mazes and storytelling.

Lunch is restaurant & back to hotel to get ready for the great show.

PM Transfer to the Lyceum Theatre to attend Disney Lion King Musical.

Farewell dinner in restaurant near Lyceum Theatre.

Back to hotel and overnight.

Day 7

Breakfast in hotel & check-out.

Transfer to LHR airport for flight back to Cairo.

Arrival to Cairo – End of GTK service.
