NASA Space Camp & Orlando

 

Day 1 (Saturday)

Flight Cairo/NYC. Arrival to JFK airport  40°38’34N 73°46’56W – connecting flight to Huntsville, Alabama

Arrive to Huntsville  34°43’48N 86°35’22W & transfer to hotel, check in.

Dinner & overnight.

Day 2 to Day 7:

Transfer to NASA Space Camp  34°38’56N 86°40’10W, during 6 days, participants will be trained on the various aspects of space technology with frequent hands-on demonstrations.  They get to build scale model rockets and actually launch them.  They experience 1/6th gravity, high G-forces, and other simulators like the multi-axis trainer just as the actual astronauts do in the course of their training.  They are briefed about the importance of the various people in a space mission and their roles and responsibilities.

Day 7

AM:  Space Camp Graduation Ceremony.

PM: City tour in Huntsville & Transfer to hotel.

Dinner & overnight.

Day 8

Start a 10 hours drive to Orlando Florida, with two stops to attractions in Atlanta Georgia  33°44’54N 84°23’20W, and Tallahassee Florida  30°26’20N 84°16’55W, with lunch en route, till finally arrive  to Orlando   28°32’07N 81°22’41W , check in hotel.  Dinner & overnight.

Day 9 to Day 12

DISNEY WORLD  28°22’10N 81°32’50W, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS   28°28’10N 81°28’15W, and SEAWORLD     28°24’40N 81°27’45W

The students will spend 4 days exploring Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld amusements parks.  Each park offers a variety of unique performances, rides, and educational programs.  The first two days will be spent at Disney World’s Magical Kingdom and Epcot center.  Next will be Sea World, and the final day of the trip will be spent at Universal Studios & 1 free day for shopping before going back home.

Day 13

Transfer to Airport for flight to NYC & connecting flight to Cairo.
