Tunes Village: Over-Day Pottery Making

Morning pick-up and departure by air-conditioned bus to Tunis village  29°24’18N 30°29’00E in El Fayoum City, about 150 km. The students will spend the morning in the Fayoum Pottery School, established by the Swiss Potters Evelyne Porret and Michel Pastore. The students will learn, under supervision of professional potters, the different processes of Pottery making, and they will also make pottery products and color them.

Traditional lunch is included in an Eco Lodge in the village. After Lunch, the students will walk through the narrow streets of the village to reach the Caricature Museum, and learn about the work of the Egyptian Artist Mohamed Abla.  They will also go through an Interactive Method Workshop (please check video to have an idea :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4sxKuWmV20)
